Morts sans Sépulture is a play in 2 acts and 4 scenes written by Jean-Paul Sartre originally in French in 1941. Abbas Abolhasani used the Persian translation of Morts sans Sépulture to take it on the stage of Abolhasani Theatre Hall in autumn of 2016.
Synopsis of Morts sans Sépulture
Morts sans Sépulture tells the story of a group of French partisans from WWII who have been captured by the police. They are being interrogated and tortured so that they would give up the hiding place of their commander. Whether they give up or resist until the end and how they will change as the torturers become fiercer is something we have to wait for until the last moment…
